Got a NeoTec NT-35E that started out with a faint picture but was very blue and had what appeared to be the SCREEN pot turned up to high.

The screen pot was actually almost turned all the way down. None of the color pots on the neck board change the picture at all. I tried swapping the drive transistors on the neck board and now have a green picture but cannot see the game playing anymore.

Tried swapping in another drive transistor from another neotec monitor but still got a green picture. I have thrown the tube on the rejuv thinking there may be a short but still no improvement.

I will say that when I turn the screen pot up on the flyback, i get a pretty good white glow on the monitor neck. I noticed a few sparks occur inside the tube neck while doing so. Which i know is not right.

Not a whole lot of info on these chassis. Am I looking at a chassis problem or chassis + tube problem?

I guess I am leaning towards....

- Cap kit
- Replace all three drive transistors
- Flyback? seems like these are known to take a crap

Your thoughts?
