I've got a Neotec 2701 with a blown HOT....will any of these HOT's work in this monitor...

2SD1879
2SC5150
2SC4542
BU2532AL

Between the manuals and references online.....all of these were mentioned. Looking over the data sheets, all of these look similiar (and probably, close enough). I see the 2SD1879 has an internal damper diode....the other's data sheets do not show this internal diode. I thought the 2701 needed this damper diode.

I remember having a 2701 in the shop in the past that was eating HOTs....turns out someone before me installed the wrong HOT...and I followed their lead. Now, I can't find my notes....and I can't remember what I used (I'm leaning towards the D1879). Anyone? Thanks!

Why not telephone Neotec's tech support department and ask them what it should be? Someone else had this same problem a while back and it turned out even though he was buying the correct transistor number on ebay, they were counterfeit and blowing immediately. He ended up buying a genuine part directly from Neotec's parts department and it fixed his monitor.
