Hi,

I can't find a pdf for the Neotec NT-2701 online, so I was hoping someone with the manual could give me the specs for resistor R119 on the main board.

Thanks.

Well it turns out I've got bigger problems than just that resistor. I really need the schematics.

If anyone could provide me with a pdf of the schematics it would really be appreciated.

Ok, yeah the Randy Fromm schematics are supposedly the right one. But now I'm even more confused...

I'm doing a cap kit and I made the mistake of desoldering more than one old cap at a time. By the time I ran into some caps that had the polarity silkscreened opposite on one side of the board, it was too late. Now I am trying to figure out where all the errors are on the board.

I thought that C116 must be marked wrong on both sides of the board, because its opposite of what is in those schematics... but I did a web search for photos of the chassis and that capacitor is always shown to be installed the way the board is marked. However this puts the positive lead at ground... I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to electronics, so I don't know what to think anymore.

I really wish I had paid attention which way each cap was installed and replaced them one at a time.

If anyone can help me sort this out, I would really appreciate it. I don't want to finish this cap kit and then turn it on and have things explode.

Just saw the reply to this thread... Did you get this sorted? If not, the best move might be to have someone take a picture (or series of pictures) of a fully-working chassis.
