So I've got a gauntlet legends machine whose monitor died last week.
From what I've researched, here's what I can gather.
Game runs and plays blind, so I know it's a monitor issue.
On powering up, I get a clicking noise from the monitor.
I've double checked, and I have the Li Chin version (says so on the neckboard)

So on to my thoughts.
These don't look good- https://i.imgur.com/ktWmHu3.jpg
I'm probably going to do a full recap, and I'll take care of these, does anyone know their values?
I'd guess that something caused these to burn out like that.
I'll look at the B+ before I power it on again.

The transistor in this pic looks bad too - https://i.imgur.com/yleKAGn.jpg
I'm guessing that's the HOT, anyone know what I need for that?

Any other ideas?

the original hot should be a BU2532AL on that chassis and yours may not be bad because that area is showing its been warn but you may have a cold solder joint but the HOT is very likely good because of the clicking which is from the power supply trying to start. i would look at the power supply section for cracks or bad components.

If you need a schematic check out Ken's reply to my cap thread here...

He has links to all three of the neotec variants, 2701, 27e and Li Chin.
also this link as well...

The cardboard on the back of my neck board was labeled NT-27E but, I also had Li-Chin printed on the component side of the neck board. The values I have for those burned out Caps are C22 - 123J630V (0.012uf 630vdc) & C23 - 223J630V (0.022uf 630vdc).

There is a lot of variation between those 3 chassis, so take my figure at your own risk. Look at the schematics and try to figure out what board you actually have. you can order replacements from mouser.com.

My B+ should be 113.5 vdc, not sure about the 2701. Can't help ya with the HOT, I haven't blown one...yet.
