I recently picked up a 25" standard res Neotec NT-2515C monitor of unknown origin (although I assume it came from a Primal Rage cab). Initial testing revealed it was working with a terrible picture that wouldn't sync. After a cap kit & reflow, there's basically no change. It won't sync properly and I can't get a decent image out of it.

That video above was the best I could get it after tweaking the V.Hold, H.Hold, and H.Freq pots.

@zenomorp & @mecha have both tried to help but nothing seems to work. I've hooked up the sync connection every possible way. I've tried the two sync headers on the chassis both soldered together and isolated. I've tried both a TPG and real game PCB. I've even tried a medium res signal from my TPG. I just can't get this monitor to sync properly.

Strangely, none of these components were populated on the chassis PCB:
- C201
- C203
- C206
- Q201
- Q202
- C924 (although the cap kit instructions say this one is not always populated on the neck board)

Other than C924, all of those other components are called out as possible sources of sync issues on Randy Fromm's flowchart. It's almost like the sync circuit isn't fully populated, although there are no signs these components have been removed from the chassis PCB.

Like Mike said, "It's odd that it's stable but out of whack." After trying lots of different stuff, tweaking everything I can think of, this is still the best picture I can get:

Any specific suggestions on what to check? The only other thing I can think of would be to clean/test/replace the hold/freq pots, re-check all of the solder connections with the remote board, and test every component & joint in the corresponding circuits.
