I have a Neotec 36'' NT-3501 the problem is that it will not sync to my Carnevil board. After some research I found out that the Carnevil is actually Medium resolution? and I thought my 3501 was also? but I am finding conflict saying it is a standard monitor? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Probably a dip setting since carnevil is a Seattle board. The manual should say if there is a dip setting, although I kind of remember carnevil running std res.

3501 should be a med res monitor.

the 3501 is medium resolution.

Carnevil, contrary to what you have been told, is also medium resolution. I had one and it had a K7500 in it.

You sure...California speed runs medium res on it. So your wrong my variant is medium only. The most common are vga. They also came in standard as well.

yeah, I give up. I don't own a Carnevil, don't ever aspire to get one. I don't really care what monitor it runs. I know that it was a K7500 I had to fix on one, and that's medium res. why in shit Midway would make every Seattle game medium res and not this one is certainly a mystery to me.

FWIW the service manual for the dedicated Carnevil says it's standard res and there's no settings listed in the manual for the graphics mode, just the speed. just some "Not Used" dipswitches.

I guess make sure your dips are all on the default settings. and for the sync, I think that's as easy as continuity checking between the sync wire on the monitor and the gun board, but don't quote me on that.
