hey guys,

so i have a 2701 full family and its giving me an odd issue.

I have rebuilt it fully, new caps, reflow, new fly, new hot etc. brought it back to life.

I have nice raster. Looks like it should be working however when I apply a signal it shows zero signs of life, like nothing at all.

I have swapped the neckboard and confirmed that there are signals present in the input and outputs of the MM1203n chip on the neckboard.

bplus voltage is fine, at 101vdc, the 12vdc rail is present, however on the neckboard back when I probe the video bplus rail i get 63vdc AND when i probe the 12vdc rail on the neckboard it appears that the 63vdc is present there also no 12vdc. this is odd because its present in the power supply section.

Ive looked through the path and I Have found nothing.

its driving me nutz. anyone seen this before and any clues or tips?

thanks!!!

ok,

im really not sure why but now my bplus on the neckboard is 12v and the 12v line is 12v.

still have zero signal at all , not even a scrambled pic or anything jus traster.

very odd....

i mean, the r,g,b ground and sync comes in direct to the neckboard and hits the mm1203n and out.

one thing, might be a clue all the pots on remote board have an effect except the contrast. So i guess ill take a look at that circuit.

any ideas?
