Polarized E-caps won't cause this issue.

these are what was being used.
As for a cap kit they are often for a series of chassis and should not
be assumed that they are some kind of upgrade for the replacement
it may be noted in the instruction with it.
so when you changed a e-cap from a chassis just re-install what was there
or ask someone, if the replacement part is compatible to the original part
