Can someone please tell me where the damn focus pot is on this stupid thing?

It is in a Crusin Exotica, so immediately I am handicapped because you cant get above the monitor. What a crappy design for a cab.

The monitor looks great except it is a tad out of focus... any help would be awesome.

There's a hole on the side of the metal flyback enclosure that just barely gives you room to use a stubby straight slot screwdriver in there. There are two knobs in there. The top knob is focus and the bottom knob is screen control.

fly

hopefully the flyback is not bad. If it keeps going out of focus you will have to change the flyback.

Ken! I was hoping you were around.

Mine seems to have 3 on top and 3 on the side. (see picture)

But none seem to be focus?? I cant seem to figure it out if one is...lol

I included pictures in case my model is odd.

Thanks

looking at it form the rear the flyback is on the right side and adjustments should also be over therte on the right side.

DOnt forge tto clean your tube and bezel glass, this usually makes the greatest difference.

Yeah, i am an idiot...lol I saw that right after my post, focused in awesome and blam... perfect! Wish you didnt need to take apart part of the cab to find it...lol

Thanks to all!!!

glad it was an easy fix...

hey fyi if it isnt already posted those flybacks are known for getting weak and upon startup the hv is different everytime and weak.. it causes focus drift.

If your focus keeps going out of focus replace that flyback. chad over at arcade cup sells new/revised units that fix the focus drift issue.
