I am planning on doing a cap kit, but wondering if I should get a new flyback also, or if the tube itself has issues. Here is a photo of what I am seeing. The image itself should not be green colored. I believed I had synced it up correctly but perhaps not.

I've not worked on a Neotec before so I may otherwise swap in a different chassis and/or tube.

Thanks for the input.

without putting it on a tube tester it becomes a guessing game, but they have some crappy original caps and they can affect of lot of stuff like that, so if you don't have a tube tester i recommend a cap kit for sure to start with. i have them if you need and i have both neck pcb's covered in my kit which are not listed in the schematics but i have personally rebuilt several of these that had different neck pcb on them.

my kit has 40 caps in it.
