Neotec 2515 - Wavy (bouncing) picture then gets blurry
Hi,
I have couple of problems that might or might not be related to one another. I recently capped my Netoec, replacing all the electrolytic caps except for the 400v and a non polarized one (I don't have the schematics handy at the moment to say for sure which ones).
After plugging it up, the picture was sort of wavy, but more like it was bouncing. A few adjustments on the controls and the bouncing stopped. I don't know if it was what I did or if the monitor "warmed up."
But then I started to notice the picture slowly began to get blurry. It was pretty sharp when I first turn the machine on but it got to the point where I couldn't read large text.
Generally, is the blurriness indicative of a flyback going south? Would replacing that be the first place to start?
Also, would the waviness, or bouncing, be related to the flyback (assuming the flyback is causing the blurriness issue) or is there some other area I should look?
Thanks!
