Just Recapped a Neo Tech 2515c and on the cap chart it said not to populate the 920C on the neck board if it was not there and mine had it.
The monitor has defiantly been out and worked on in the past so I'm unsure if I need one there or not.
I put the new cap in. It popped it as soon as power was added to the chassis. I double check that I had installed it correctly and I had.
I reinstalled the old cap back in its place and it was fine when powering back on
I'm getting an electric buzzing noise when the power is on with no neck glow.
"Check across the 920C on the neck board for 160V" is what I found when looking into trouble shooting it.
Did that with 0v across 920C.
Said I'd need a fly back if I was getting 0v across 920C but I'm not sure if the old cap is any good. (it looks fine)
Can I just leave that cap off or should I order a new one with the fly back?
Also if I leave it off does it need to have a jumper in it's place?
I'm not sure if it's buzzing because the fly back is out or if I got another issue going on so I'm kinda stuck.
