I love me some Neo Geo and PO, but wow.

I think there were other PO hellcades posted in the past, but can't find them.

I never understood the Punch-Out conversions. Why did anyone think a cabinet with two monitors was a great candidate for a conversion?

I think it's less "what's a good candidate?" and more "what do I have and what's a cheap way of putting a new game on my route?"

Now, if this was done for personal home use, then that's just wrong. Haha.

I have seen multiple P.O.'s turned into SF2's. I agree, dumb as hell.

One of my PO's was turned in to a 2 monitor version of a really craptastic baseball game... can't even remember the name now... it sucked.

There was a TOKI Punch-Out! on Denver CraigsList a long time ago...crazy!

edit...Found a pic. Don't know if this was it or not, but looked the same.

Quite a few POs got converted to Street Fighter II. I guess maybe it had big crowds and the extra monitor made it easier to watch?

Bottom of the Ninth... THAT was the crappy baseball game that came in my PO...

Who wants to play that game on a SINGLE monitor let alone two?

I thought even the original Playchoice 10 machines were weird Punch-out conversions. Just for the simple fact the top monitor pretty much did nothing and had absolutely nothing to do with your game play down below.

Dual screen PCs were offered as conversions for PO, but I think they did make some new at the factory. Single monitors were both, and bar tops are bespoke.
