Also if you can open the coin doot you can get inside. You just have to reach up inside the coin door and the control panel is held down by latches. You will have to feel around to find them. I will try to post some photos later.

You can get the PCB from Coin-Op Express for $400+. Too expensive as far as I'm concerned, but I dunno. http://coinopexpress.com/products/pcbs/pcb/Dragon_Ball_Z_2_-_Super_Battle_PCB_91.html

Honestly, I don't even know if Coin-Op Express is a good dealer - I've heard mixed things. I hope they are, because there's been a few things I wanted to order from them (such as that Sailor Moon beat 'em up - I had some fond memories playing that one with some friends back in the day).

As for other manga-based arcade games:
Dragon Ball Z (The predecessor to DBZ 2 Super Battle)
Super Dragon Ball Z
Yu Yu Hakusho
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
Initial D
Hokuto No Ken
Strider
Mobile Suit Gundam
Fate Unlimited Code
Macross
Macross Plus
Mazinger Z
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
Lupin III

That's all I can think of. I'm sure I'm missing a bunch, considering anime and video games go together about as much as pizza and breadsticks, but that's all I remember. As far as I know, I haven't seen an arcade game based on more recent properties like Bleach, Naruto or One Piece, but they could be out there.

Honestly, I'm not aware of many manga-based games on arcades at all. Aside from 8-Man, there's the Sailor Moon beat 'em up, various DBZ games, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Hokuto No Ken. I can't think of any others.

UN Squadron/Area 88

This is kind of a pain in the ass question to answer, because Japanese popular culture tends to be a multi-media reaching affair. If there is a semi-popular animation, there is very likely a manga and or a video game of some kind. It's like a trinity.

You need to be specific about the I.P you're asking about...or Google. Listing every anime related arcade game ever is going to be a long list.

+1 Doing some research on such a general question would help. It's not specific enough to getting a bunch of guys to noodle around the right answer you are looking for.

Certainly if you like the Anime then you can research if there's a game on it. Like any other liscensing of games, good anime doesn't make a good game.

BITD I paid $120 for Digital Mission VFX cause it was supposed to be a Marcross sorta sim for the PlayStation.... SUCKED big time and was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a console game.

If you get this game. Check out the marquee and try to figure out how many slots it originally was. You may be able fo find a mini-marquee selector. It was Either 1-2 or 4. These are known as big red machines. Sell the board or keep it for a generic conversion machine. Restoring this machine to a Neo Geo could yield a machine worth $300-500 in the right market.

Someone here may want to restore this also. Dedicated MVS machines are special.
A Dynamo with no game is can be had down to $100+ depending on it's condition. No one would want a Neo Geo converted into something else.
