Do any of the N-in-1 carts work in a 2 slot MVS board?

I just got a project JAMMA cab with a 2-slot MVS board in it and if I get it up and running, that would be my ideal thing - to get one of the multi NEO GEO carts and just go with that. But I read somewhere that they only work in the 1-slot boards. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

thanks,
John

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the 150-in-1 and I'm crossing my fingers that it'll work. I guess if not, then I could buy a 1-slot and sell off the 2-slot.

It is MOST DEFINITELY "hit or miss" with these. I know for a FACT that the 100-in-1 that I have absolutely, positively, will NOT work in a 4 slot board. It works great in a 1 slot, however. Please let me know how the 150 turns out, as I have put a 1-slot board in my dedicated 4-slot machine to bypass such issues. In order to do so, I had to re-wire the sound wiring, as the harnesses are different. I have been told that the "most compatible" in-1 cartridge is the 120 in 1. I am curious to find out if the 150 in 1 has screen shots in the menu, and just as important, if the games load up quickly or slowly. It would appear that some of the boards are loading from flash memory and it takes quite a while to load into the cart before the game can start, especially on the larger games like the Metal Slugs...

You shouldn't have an issue with the 120 in 1 on a 2 or 4 slot. They sometimes require you to not use the other slots or have it in a certain slot.

I have the 120 in 1 in my four slot. Works great, and I can switch between slots.

I had the 138 in 1 before, it worked, but I was unable to swtich between slots which blew.

I have a 138-1 in a 4 slot and it's fine.... it's the only one in there tho...

Got it and it works perfectly.

Would you mind writing a little review on the 150 in 1? I am buying a 4-slot cab in a couple of days, so I am really interested in this. Can you use the other 3 slots? Can you edit the menu to get rid of the crap games?

Thanks,
Paul

Edit: just reread the thread and saw you have a 2 slot.

Anyone have any issues with the audio on the 138-1 on some games?

Most games work and sound great. I have a few that the game is fine but the audio is shit.

I got the 150 in 1 today. It works in the 4 slot, but the sound is bad in all of the games I have tried so far. Still trying to find a setting that may need to be changed. I have 2 other carts loaded. Most of the time when I choose a game on the 150 in 1, it will reset and start up on the next cart. The game works when I cycle back to it. I just fired up Aero Fighters 2 to check the sound, and it didn't reset on that one.

Has anyone else had sound issues with this cart? If so, did you get it working right?

I have a 2 slot with the 150 in 1 and I tested about 5 games with no sound issues. The only thing I noticed was It was lower than the game in the other slot so I had to turn it up. I will test more later today and post back.

update...
The sound on the games I tested today was fine. What are you hearing? Distortions or something?

I think it is changing volume. Kinda sounds like a bad speaker connection that is too quiet but tries to reach the set volume when you jiggle the cable.
