Greetings everyone. I have Neo-Geo MVS that is having some sound issues. I can get audio to work threw the extrenal head phone jack but it wont play over the speakers. I have tried looking in test mode to see if their was an on/off option for speakers but i did not see anything. Also looked in the manual to check if it is a dip switch and i couldn't find anything pertaining to sound with the dip switches either. I took the Jamma harness and cleaned it and re connected all the connections to the speakers back to the mother board. Anyone ran into this issue? Any help is always appreciated.. thx!

the capacitors in the amp section of the board are bad. I've done a couple of these, it was the most unpleasant re-capping job ever cause I think those are multi layer boards. had to use some tricks from channelmaniac to clear out some holes. :)

there's about as many caps there as a Hantarex Polo, pretty intense. I had gotten my kits from channelmaniac (or channelmanic here), you could try dropping him a PM to see if he has them in stock.

Awesome I will re cap the amp and see what we get! thanks for the help!

Thank you for the input the issue was resolved after re capping the amp!! I found it is easier to get the solder to let up on multi layer boards if you use tip tinner. Thanks again for the help! -Joel
