So I recently received a conversion Neo Geo cab. It came with a 1-slot mobo (MV-1) and Metal Slug. I also picked up a 2-slot pcb w/ a 100-in-1 cart. Everything I have read is that often these multi-carts don't like the older 1-slot pcbs like my MV-1. But after spending some time on it last night it seems to be working fine. Games load fine, sound is fine. I've searched here as well as a on few MVS sites about the whole 1-slot pcb and multi-cart "relationship" because I would love to just sell off the 2-slot pcb if this 1-slot is going to work with the multi-cart. Or should I give it some time just to make sure everything keeps working. This is my first work on actual Neo Geo hardware so I'm just not sure if I got lucky but that may change eventually or if I can comfortably sell of the 2-slot pcb I have.

Any thoughts from those who have more experience with the Neo Geo setups than myself?

Why would you want to sell off the 2 slot? Get rid of the 1 slot. The 2 slot has more useable features and is more reliable due to being a vertical loader.
