what is the difference between a neo geo jamma wiring and PBC Jamma wiring. cuz i hear its not safe to plug a PCB into a Neo Geo Cab. why is this cuz i have a neo geo 1slot that the monitor went out on me so i just put it in my MK2 machine and i have had no problems. so does anyone know what the difference is and why it is not safe to put pcb's into neo geo cab and if it safe to put a neo geo board into a pcb cab (MK2)

http://www.hardmvs.com has the wiring diagrams and info you need...

PS: Ken is right. You'll damage the amplifier chip on a JAMMA board if you plug it into a cab wired for the stereo MVS boards.

This is great news. I have a Neo Geo single slot. I thought I was going to have to get the Neo Geo to Jamma adapter to plug in a Jamma board. Right now it has a metal slug cartridge. Is that any good? I will probably just stick a Mortal Kombat card in it and send it on its way.

Most single slots are wired for mono.

SO you most likely would not need an adapter.

DOUBLE CHECK.

Some of the older boards are switchable between stereo and mono. Check to make sure your board isn't running in stereo mode and the cab wired for stereo.

My cabinet has two speakers with two separate sets of wires to each one. I guess I'm stereo.
