hey another neo question.
where can I buy a neo 1 slot board bios chip??. the one slot I have now it appears to have a hacked or modified bios. the splash screen looks like somone tried to home draw the logo.. might explain why this board dosent work properly at all..
and I think with a bios change it would probly end up firing right up properly.. least willing to give it a shot.

As long as you don'd have a MV1C you should have a socketed bios and this is a great replacement. The Uni is great, lots of neat features in addition to stock settings. Think of it as a gameshark for your neo.

you have to set up each individual games for free play in the service menu

27C1024-85 is the chip you need to burn yourself a copy of the UniBIOS chip. I have that on my site too.

Look at the top board towards the back and you'll see the board type identified in the silk screen writing. MV4, 4F, 4FT, 4FS, or 4FT2 are the types.

OR, even easier... if it has DIP chips on the top board and NOT surface mount then it's for sure the MV4.

As for the funky 1 slot - post a pic of what it's doing. Could be a dirty slot or gouged traces causing the graphics corruption.
