its an 1826HR chassis which is made by weiya and a few other chinese names

Are these chassis worth rebuild? Or considered different brand?
probably since short of cap kit and filter cap there isn't much else on them and the flybacks aren't available so if good they aren't common failure points but when they finally do then toss the chassis.

If the yoke is k7000 compatible id just swap it out

H: 3.4 OHMS V: 15.0 OHMS (max)

This is just a range, so a bit less than these values is fine.

Neo Geos came with those QNIC CGM-2500 monitors, I can attest to those being K7000 compatible. we had one with bad flyback and those are unobtanium also, so just did K7000 swap. if you recycle the old tray be extra careful the deflection board isn't touching any of the metal.

If you want to verify, take the yoke header off and measure the resistance on the red and blue wires and the other two. The red/blue are the horizontal winding and the other two are the vertical. Post the values

Like mecha said, you would also need to figure out a way to mount the k7000 so it doesn't touch the frame; I've used pieces of scrap wood

I was going through pictures and stumbled upon that very swap. we apparently mounted the K7000 onto the plastic gimmick the CGM-2500 would sit on.

Going to try a cap kit and if no go will purchase a k7000 thanks guys

Good news

New power Supply placed

Replaced the 100uf 160v cap as it was bulged at position C313

Monitor came on and held TPG test screen, (i think my sync cables were in wrong position) but did show picture, but this resistor started smoking slightly, was already discolored prior to testing:

Going to replace all other caps, arcade shop working on a cap kit. Besides caps and that resistor any thing else I should look into?

Fly back replace doesn't exist for this chassis

Thanks everyone 🤓
