Neo Geo 4 Game Value?

Pics attached of my new Neo Geo

Ok, ok, ok, here are the pics of the Neo Geo find. I cleaned it up with a Mr. Clean this morning so this is what it looks like right now.....

Again thanks to everyone for the information on this machine. Anyone know how to change the hard dips?

Thanks,

Mike

Man, that is clean. I can't believe you got it for $50. :)

Interesting that the black on the sides were covered with a wood grain pattern.

When you open the CP, looking down at the PCB, the dip switches are on the top left on the side of the PCB.

Here's a good resource for new MVS owners: www.hardmvs.com You can find the manual (MVS-4-25) in the download section.

must... resist... commenting on pic orientation......... fail

What do you guys think a nice Neo Geo with 4 games in it is worth? Trying to get an idea of its value and whether or not to pick one up? Is this a machine that is one that I will grow tired of or treasure forever?

Seriously how can you even wonder if this is a good deal. Must be a joke, you want to show off how good of a deal this is or are a NOOB.
Cabs like this usually go for $500+ in this area.

Strikers 1945 is worth $100+ as long as it's not a boot.

Wasn't looking to brag on this thread. I started it to find out what they were going for before I went to go look at the machine. Seller wanted $250 for it and I was trying to determine if it was worth the price. After I picked it up for the $50, I knew it was a great deal so I posted it because every once in a while, if you are patient and extremely lucky, an amazing deal may come your way. Figured other members might enjoy the story. I know that I love to hear when another member gets a steal on a machine. No gloating, just sharing my story with people that I know can appreciate it.

For nesjess:

Thanks for the info on where the dips are on the machine and for the link to the website. Most importantly, thanks for having some class and not attacking me for this score. It's good to know that there are still some members that can enjoy anothers good fortune in building their arcade collection.

For nesjess:

The sides of the cabinet are black and not woodgrain. It just looks that way because of the pics and my poor orientation of them. Clearly, this is also a problem for some people.....
