I have a NEO GEO 2-slot installed in a regular JAMMA cabinet. How can I switch to the other game in the 2nd slot? Can this be done with regular JAMMA wiring, or do I have to have the extra harnesses to do this? What do I need to do? Thanks!

On a real neo-geo cabinet there's a 'select' button. According to the wiring diagrams I have here in front of me, it connects to pin 26 of the neo-geo motherboard. The question at hand is: what does your JAMMA adapter connect that to? You'll need to look at your wiring harness and see what (if anything) that pin connects to. Follow it from the board outwards to try to determine where it goes.

This pin is a no-connect on JAMMA, so if you plugged the neo-geo board into a JAMMA harness without any kind of adapter, then this line is not connected. I don't know what happens to the sound if you do that, though, because the Neo speakers are wired differently than JAMMA.

The system should rotate between games automatically - in other words, show the attract screens from slot one then slot two and repeat.

BUT, when you dump a quarter in it you are stuck on the game that is on the screen until you press the select button.

If it's not rotating during attract then you may have a dirty cart/slot as the game isn't being seen. Or you could have corrupt backup RAM - which is easy to reset from the hardware diagnostics screen.
