need to find audio IC chip have # and pic

TL-074 is a fairly common op-amp.

Unfortunately, the only op-amp IC Radio Shack carries is the TL-082.

I think KLOV member Riptor may be fairly nearby to you, and he stocks a lot of ICs...

+1

Riptor, he is the only one close that would have them and in quantity. Maybe closer if you can meet him at crab town.

Your all in Maryland? you should all be able to throw rocks at each other :p

i drive 1hr to work everyday :p

a normal weekend drive for me is 2-3hrs driving..

i am probably just sick in the head.

I am not quite sure if this seller is close to you but they are in the same state. They do say deliver in 4 days.

If you search eBay and use the distance option with your search you might find some one closer..

I ordered these then noticed they 74cn not 74Acn anyone think that is going to be a problem....in fact I think the guy at the specialty electronics store had these but said they wouldn't work

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. The diff between the TL-074CN, TL-074ACN & TL-074BCN is the input offset voltage. The smaller the input offset voltage is, the "better" the op-amp is, since ideally it should require zero offset between its inputs to generate a zero output. In real op-amps, a small offset voltage is required to get exactly zero output. In any case, it's specs for the offset voltages is different between the 3 varieties of the IC. The A is slightly better than the _, the B is slightly better than the A.

All that said... this thing is in the audio circuit of a video game. I'm confident you'll never hear the difference.

makes sense.. cool thanks

but now looking at the map, your all fooked :p

and to think, i was just in woodbridge, va a few weeks ago, we could of had a klov party :p

We just had a meet at Crab Town and I think there might be some pics floating around. Orion3311 Gave a public demonstration on the basics of a scope and I found a Operation Wolf cab I needed to test and repair the sound and cpu boards. All in all it was a good learning experience and games games and more games.
