If you live in the chicagoland area or northwest indiana I need my star wars episode 1 completely shopped in my home. There are no major problems. Want the playfield cleaned and waxed. New rubbers, any burnt out bulbs replaced, polish the pinballs, run a test and do any program updates on this pin if available, etc. Must be reasonable on price and do professional work. Paying cash. I live in lansing, illinois 60438.

I am on the other side of the country, so I am not offering to do it. Just keep in mind when you get quotes that tearing down to the playfield is a ton of work. Just cleaning around stuff isn't too bad, tearing down would be hugely expensive. I tore down my High Speed, which I am sure is way less work than your pin, and it took forever. I don't think I would do all that work on a machine that wasn't mine. I could definitely buy a pretty nice arcade game for what I would charge to do it. I hope you find someone to do it for you, but just understand why it will be an expensive job. I am interested to see what someone would actually charge for this.

I charge $300 to do a complete tear down on a pin like that. I remove everything down to the wood (top and bottom)....clean and wax.....and then clean/polish everything else as it gets re-assembled. It takes approximately 30 hours...This price goes up if there's any issues ( burnt connectors, burnt coils, replacing flipper parts, etc.). And there's no way I could do something like that in someone's home.

It's too bad High End Pins is in North Carolina and not in the Chicago era or I'd recommend them for you. Their rates may not qualify as "reasonable" to you but there is no one who tears down and shops a pin like they do.
