Need some Pics of American laser Games Cab.

Too bad we can't find someone in the southwest Missouri area with a tube rejuvenator. I'll keep my eyes open for a good 25" candidate for you. I'd paint the mirror shelf with some matte black spray paint. The original looked like it was a big frame.

update

OK, I replaced the shelf behind the mirror with a lid I got from work. I think It will look a lot better full length. I sprayed it with some paint, but ran out.

Did some more work, I painted the inside and mounted the mirror. The mirror has a beveled edge and was reflecting the picture,so I used some black duct tape to cover the edges. It will work like this, but I believe the mirror needs to be the same size as the opening(26x25). You should be able to tell what I mean from the pics. I also noticed the the cab is bowing on the left side facing the back. I believe this was caused by the people who remounted the monitor to the front of the cab. The board/shelf was a hair to wide, So now I need to figure out how to fix that. I'm still looking for pics and more info on this cab. I think I'll start working on moving the ISO transformer to it's proper place, and than figure out how to shelf for the Laser disc place was installed(with or without rollers). Then hopefully someone will post a pic of the inside populated with the game boards and laser disc layout. It's Not Letting Me Upload Pic Again, so I will use Tapatalk. They will probably be sideways.

Still trying to figure out how the insides go. I think, something like it. I just don't like the components setting on top of the laserdisc player. Maybe I'll add a shelf back in there. I still need to come up with the pull out shelf. Hoping someone will see this, that has this cab and help me out.

pics fixed

I fixed all the upside down pics in this thread. I'm looking for a Composite video to RGB converter. IF anyone knows where I can get one, that would be great. If your not sure what it's for, It's so the Laser disc video can be viewed on the arcade monitor. Thanks Travis B.

It was suggested to me by GAMEOVER to use the tv chassis,so I would not need the ntsc to rgb adapter. I had thought about that when I first received the cab, but wanted to run more than just the Laser games. I was board, and swapped out the k7000 with the tv chassis. One, I wanted to see if my pcb's still worked. I haven't played with them in about seven yrs. give or take. The Ld player didn't want to work, so I helped it out. I believe the lens is dirty from setting in the garage all this time. And the rom boards are not working, I believe there is a chip with a battery(ram) that is dead on the MD,and MDII rom boards. I have a rom board for Crime Patrol, but it's missing the ram chip so I can't test it. I guess it's time to check on the LaserCon multi rom board.

Unfortunately the ALG MultiROM is out of stock.

This is such an awesome product. Anyone who has one will tell you how convenient it is to swap ALG games without opening the CPU cage.
But, the original run (back in 2010) was 30 boards, and I sold the last one two weeks ago.

I'm debating whether or not to do another run of these.

If you have an ALG system with more than one laserdisc, or a Dexter with multiple game images, and you think you might want the MultiROM, Please PM me and let me know.

I've started a "Wait" list, and Long Hair is the only name on it so far. If a few more people show some interest, then I'll certainly do another run.

Played with the Rom board, cleaned the edge connector and that worked. The laser disc player would spin but not read. I started poking around, and I think I have a bad cable going to the main board. I was able to get it to read by pressing on the cables with a plastic screw driver made for TV adjustments. There are so many groups of cables going to the board. It might be a bad solder joint. My guns off,but it all still works.

Do you have all the boards and laser discs for this conversion already? If not, those are going to be hard to find and pricey. Let me know if I can help further. With any luck, maybe we can help each other get both of our cabs back together again. :)
I have 4xA500 Boards,plus an Amiga 500 pc, 4x TOAS Boards, 3x Audio Boards, 3x Rom Boards, 2xGun Boards, 1 Machine Gun(Who Shot Johnny Rock?),3x Revolvers,3x Gun Holsters(all are for the left side of Cab)5xLD's 2 MD,2 MDII,and a Crime Patrol.

Component Layout per PDF.

I believe I have the layout I've been looking for. I found a pdf with a diagram of the boards and LD player. Note my drawer is just a scrap piece of wood for now,to get an idea of what it looks like elevated. In the pdf it show's a transformer for the TOAS(takes two power supplies an 12v and 6volt)and coin lights, that is what the wall-wart represents. You could just use two wall-warts one @12volts ac for TOAS and one @6.3volts ac for coin lighting. Thought this might be helpful to anyone else who wanted to know how it was laid out.

NTSC to RGB

I found a NTSC decoder board, thanks to chilibear13. It didn't have the wiring for the power or video, so I made them. I was looking at the k7000 chassis an noticed there was a connector labeled P7 which has the voltage I needed. The board works good, but the only issue I'm having now is the color from the genlock(Amiga 500 Overlay) is not working. I believe I'm missing the red, so that's something I have to figure out.
