ok so i have 2 of these chassis with no power. first i thought i would replace the hot. did that and no luck still dosent power up. now i setup my station so i was able to take some readings while its hot and here is what i have. from ac power in i had a 48vac on one side and a 55vac right at the ac in. followed power on each side till it hit a d101 which is a 4 pin what im assuming a diode and when jumping from 1 pin to the next it goes from 55vac to 1.9vac and the 48vac goes to 1.16vac. just to be sure i checked it in dc and there was no volts. i checked r117 and there is no volts on either side. please advise next route of action as im stumped

huh? is there more voltage that is supposed to be at the monitor. should i use the 125v tab on the bottom of the iso trans

ok so the differences are 55vac/60vac on ac in and drop at d101 to a respective 1.4vac/2.0vac. this is after i switched the iso to 125v on the bottom

I don't understand why you are mentioning two different voltages, theres only one AC input. Anyway, it still sounds like you're only using half of the transformer. Post a picture of it so we can tell you how to wire it up correctly.

reason is that is what im seeing when i test points on each wire coming into the board. i take the ac in and test it on both points. now this setup works just fine when i have it setup in my golden tee fore machine but for the expedience of help i will get a pic at lunch today.

well i had one of these chassis working mostly but i had to change the caps out on the horizontal board since none of the adjustments were working and the b+ was at its correct setting. i changed the caps and now i get the dreaded power on for a second power off, etc, etc. argh i cant win with these neotecs. ive replaced the ic101 the fet, hot and c425. and the caps on the horizontal board.
