Hello
Got some questions for the experts. Probably noob stuff for you guys but for me I am a little lost on where to start. I picked up a dead Frogger recently and have started to restore it cosmetically. My problem is the inner guts of the machine. I'll start with the parts that seem to be okay. The harness seems complete and the monitor looks complete but that is about it. The power supply is completely missing and the large brick (transformer?) looks like someone attemtped to hack it or something, lots of weird soldering and heavy burn evidence around it, I would rather just replace it. Many other parts are probably missing, maybe "borrowed" for other project somewhere down the line, I guess lets just say I have a complete wiring harness, a PCB and a monitor and that is it internally. My question is what other parts do I need to get this thing going and where can I buy them? Also, is there a how to for Frogger wiring? I have a basic understanding of arcade machines but have never really repaired anything outside of jamma so I have no idea if all the parts are the same/etc.. Any help here would be greatly apreiciated, Thanks a ton!

looking at a frogger pin out, it looks like you can run it off a switcher. Since you say you have no power supply I would start there. Here's a link to the basics of what you will need in the cab.

Your lights and monitor will be powered off the iso. You will need to check the pin out for the frogger board you have and run the voltage wires from the wiring harness to the correct lugs on the switching power supply. Assuming everything else is wired correctly you should have a working frogger.

That looks like a great start for me, and I got a response in under 10 minutes even! I love this place! Thanks for the help, I am sure I will have some more questions but that link should get me going in the right direction.
