I was going to connect a rejuvinator to it. So I was checking info on the tube. it has a tag that says:
WGEC
088x0407-001

don't see any number like that in the B&K book.

I could not find anyting on tube. Found the 7400 schematics and pretty sure its saying the proper tube is a a63afw36x. Is there some cross refrence to the tube? I did not see any other tags on the 25" tube.. Anyone know if they use the same specs? Can I use the A63afw36x settings to rejuvinate the tube?

Just checked the B&K manual and there is no listing for a63afw36x. closest I can find is a63afw22x..

Sorry, I'm not going to be of much help.....but that 088 number isnt going to be in the BK set up book. That's a Wells-Gardner part number. I've got a couple 7400 in the shop. Remind me, and I'll check the numbers tomorrow.

thanks. I will probably give the cr23 and 6.3 a try on friday.. I don't think the rejuvinator will fix the problem with this one. Its like a spot on the tube is dead. Sort of like a few dead pixels. About the size of a pencil eraser.

I have another weird problem(different game and different monitor this one is k7000)..

I was replacing the chassis in my trog. I connect it, power it up and it makes a hissing sort of arcing sound. I thought it might be a bad flyback. So I pull the chassis, put in another one and it does exactly the same thing..

I had just finished rejuvinating the tube and all 3 guns looked good to the bk490. although when I set the limits on guns was a little weird. they seemed to change after I started rejuvinating each gun. When I did blue last, it caused the short light to come on. Cleared the short and then then all the guns metered good.

The problem was probably there before the rejuv. I checked the tube again after and all 3 guns meter good and no shorts. I was wondering if this could be a bad yoke? I metered the yoke and I got 1.5 and 10.2.

I rejuved the WGEC 088x0407-001 with cr23 and 6.3 settings and it worked fine. Picture was good before, even better now..

The problem with dead spot it did not change..

Tried the 2 k7000's chassis in another cab. No hissing/arcing sounds. So 100% the problem is either with the tube or the yoke.. Any ideas?

here are some pics of the dead spot on the tube..

seen the dead pixel thing on WG U5000 and a Hantarex Polo too. well, more in line with like stuck pixels in an LCD, and just 1 pixel at a time, not a cluster burnmark thing like you got.

what's weirder is on the Polo I've seen the pixels stick and unstick...

The sad thing is, other than the problem, it has a great pic...
