Need some help with 20EZ b+..need a pic of the pot!

I see the label on the board. I look at the point. It's like something is missing from that area. is there supposed to be a pot there or is this some freakin' wierd adjustment that I just don't get how to work with it?

Can someone that has this monitor please take a pic of that specific area, as well lit and clear as possible? I know my B+ is low on one monitor and about to test the other, but apparently I have no way to adjust it!!?!?!

Yeah, I did look at that thread, and did watch the requisite youtube video that google provides. Doesn't help when it's shot in the dark in 320x200 resolution 7 years ago on a Handycam.

I can see VR601 on the chassis, but there's no POT there, and one of my two monitors is measuring 100-102V and has some very minor issues I'm hoping to resolve without having to replace a cap.

I was looking for an actual picture of the physical area, because I am NOT removing this monitor from the cabinet unless I absolutely have to. I have a small child and an annoying child in my tiny place, and don't really have the room to work on these unless they're asleep.

Schematics are great and all, but I can't make heads or tails of them, and as I said, I know where it's supposed to be, I just want to know what the thing is supposed to look like. Is it supposed to be a white knob pot or what?

I find it highly odd that both monitors I have would be missing a pot at that location..

It's not missing, it's just an unconventional looking pot. Without actually digging around and taking the requested picture, I can likely tell you how to identify it nonetheless.

Small silver platform with a tiny slit across the top for a screwdriver and a smear of white pastey shit on it. Looks almost like a normal pot minus the actual knob - the knob is an ultra low profile, almost nonexistent knob. More like a tiny flat disc riding on top of a metal plate, with the aforementioned white gunk on it from the original factory B+ setting (glue to hold it in set position).

I always chime in here: This pot is a hunk of dog poopy. Order a nice replacement B+ Pot from Bob Roberts for 1$.

Thanks to both of you guys. That's exactly what I was seeing, but couldn't get a screwdriver down there far enough to adjust it whout the hairs on my arm feeling like they were picking up some charge from the dag and was getting a bit trigger happy so I left it alone last night.

Really don't want to get zapped. Guess I'm gonna have to find some tiny extra-long screwdrivers or pull the chassis and replace the pots...might end up doing that anyways..seems like the color pots on the neckboards don't work very well either. : P
