I am helping a friend try to fix a Nintendo super system in an original Dynamo cabinet.

Turn it on and it will fire up fine. Turn it off, then back on and you get a white screen, will come back on in minutes, hrs, or literally days!

I actually found the manual (no schematics) in the bottom. This seems to be MIA on all the manual sites, so I want to scan and get it sent to everyone that keeps archives for future owners!

Any idea what may be wrong. Power seems good at 5.08v, I dropped the monitor into my neo geo cabinet and it works OK it appears. It's using a 25" WG K7000 monitor. Is the harness a standard Jamma? I know there are more connectors for game select and such, didn't get a chance to look closer at the edge connector which at first glance looks to be Jamma.

I'd like to drop a Jamma board in (if Jamma) to eliminate the cabinet. I'm thinking PCB at this point.

I sold one to arcadegreg here on the boards. It had the same issue, search his name I think he posted on how to fix it.

I thought I found a manual for it online, but I don't remember where. I have a hard copy of the manual as well though, but yeah... no schematics (just wiring diagrams). There are SNES schematics out there, which of course is a large part of the Super System, though the component designators don't match up.

Thanks guys, will try the fix!!

Any manuals out there?
Like I said, this one has a manual that I plan to scan, but no schematics.

Scan your manual. I don't think anyone has done it yet. I have one but a part of a page was cut out for some reason by the previous owner.

I'd send it to Arcarc... they seem to have a huge collection of everything, and I believe they even have some other Super System stuff (pics and other info).
