Getting ready to do reproduction Nintendo side art and marquees. Need pictures and measurements of original side art and marquees as followed:

Mario Bros
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr
Donkey Kong 3
Popeye
Punch Out

Please email to [email protected]

After I get these all done a Introductory Sale will follow.

Thanks In Advance.

Get the popcorn ready.

Ok, I'll be the first to say it. I think you are going a little too far too fast now.

Rubbing people the wrong way here man. It's just a matter of honor and respect to not recreate something that's already been done properly. Comes off as greedy and low rent to me :(

Who has done the wide body marquee? I'm going to need to get one sometime. Is the sideart identical on the regular and wide body Mario Brothers? Is the best sideart for it at Phoenix Arcade?

Why is everyone getting worked up over this? I think anyone who is working to help keep games working and looking good are doing a good thing. If there's a quality issue then they will have to fix it or stop producing due to lack of interest. I got my marquees, they both looked good and matched the originals. Both of my games look much better because of it.

To stay a little more positive..........

work on something that hasn't been produced (at high expense and risk) already.

We want to give people money for art. I have 30 pieces of art that I have no games for. I pay for the shit just to support the projects (silk-screened)

Now I think you have a welcome place in the forums here, and my 2 dealings with you have been great. I think you could start a "what should I make" thread, believe me, people will chime in.

good luck bud

Just tossing my two cents.

Totally agree with Tron Guy. Stick to work that isn't available. There's plenty of work that needs to be done. There's plenty to do that hasn't been done yet or isn't available.

palm to face

How can you reproduce something if you need pics and measurements
I mean with some extremly rare things its sometimes the only option
but with COMMON art, shouldnt you have this on hand to well
know if your doing it with the right colors, materials, etc.

If you're going to just make cheap inkjet versions of something already available, seems like you'd just buy someone else's hard work and copy it?

this is more for stuff that im personally redoing. i may mass produce if people ask or run a sale and see what happens. the cabinets i have do not have side art in track.

:)

Most DK and DK Jr. stuff is $50-$80 for a "set of art" which is "silk screened". Not sure you can save $$$$ by ink jetting them!

If this is for yourself I'd just find someone local and measure their art.

I would think if you are going to reproduce a piece of common arcade art
you should at least invest in an NOS or High quality Silkscreened repro to match
colors and dimensions yourself.
