Need Party Gift Favor & Decorating Ideas for a 9 year Old's Coin-Op Birthday

Hi...

I need some ideas for a coin-op video game party for a nine year old and his friends. I'm particularly trying to figure out ideas for gift bags to give away to each kid as they leave.

There is the Space Invaders and Pac Man machine candy

and there are some smaller candy tins, with various ratings...

I was wondering what else I could come up with.

There are PacMan glasses on Amazon but if you look at the ratings, everyone says the imagery comes off the first time--even with hand washing.

We need to fill 23 bags, so if we could keep it under $10 each that would be preferred (unless something really amazing was found, in which case we could push it).

Other party wise... We found tablecovers

and PacMan balloons

What other ideas have people used or thought of?

Thanks... G

I can cut you some deals on the arcade themed items I carry.
www.arcadethings.com is just a sample of what I have here at the shop.

PM me and let see if we can work something out.

I will be on vacation starting the 15th

Make sure you get some Mario themed stuff, as that is going to be the only thing they will know.

I have some Mario themed PEZ dispensers of different characters. You can probably bulk buy them online somewhere.

I would make it a gift bag as the arrive. Give them some candy and tokens, maybe something Halloween related. Something unique in each bag.

Make the bags special too.

Make a Pac Man cake or arcade related cake.

Place a special item in each bag to go into a drawing for a prize. Maybe an arcade character that matches the bag. Like a Pac Man coin in a Pac Man bag. Each bag a different game. Place the coin with the others in a bag for the drawing.

Place all gift bags into another bag, and let them draw one each randomly.

Watch the movie Pixels as a group.

Make a Pac Man pinata full of goodies.

High Score contest with names on a big poster board. (no prizes)

Play a game where everybody's score on Pac Man gets added together to reach a total of (???) and if they do, everyone gets an ice cream cone (or another prize). Gets everyone on the same team.

Have Fun!!!

Sorry for the delay..been traveling. I don't know if you did already had the party for your daughter. Thanks again to everyone for their ideas.

We ended up keeping it very simple. My building is undergoing work still so we held it at Neon Retro Arcade in Pasadena. http://neonretroarcade.com/

We rented the place out exclusively for 2 hours... it holds about 50 people.

We designed a PacMan cake and cupcakes, got the 80s retro video game tablecloth off of Amazon, and gave out the PacMan coinop machine and Space Invaders coinop machine candy tins, which Neon had cheaper than I could find them online, so it was easy.

Basically we like the look of the cake, but the kids prefer grabbing cupcakes, so that is why we did both. See attached.

Thanks again for everyone's ideas.
