I picked up an old popcorn vending machine which looks to be from the
1950's. It's in pretty rough shape so it's going to be a really long
term project but I figured I would take a chance since it's not very
common. It is just a vendor so it doesn't make popcorn and you just
have to fill it as needed.

Again, it's a really long shot, but does anyone have any information
about this or have an idea of a place for parts? It's a model 100
from Gold Medal manufacturing and that is all I know. I did some
searches and besides seeng some complete units for sale couldn't find
out much of anything about it.

Also, to put it somewhat on topic for RGP, I'm pretty sure this is the
same model they have at the Pinball Hall of Fame.

I don't think there is much to that. It is a popcorn warmer. Aside from the vending setup, its not much more than a light bulb to keep the popcorn warm. I think a few guys at Soda-machines have these or have restored them.

My problem is that it is missing some parts. It is pretty simple so I could make something but would prefer to keep it original if possible. It doesn't have the back door, top, coin mech, and the plastic globe is cracked. It was sitting in a barn for who knows how long so at least it was saved but it is going to take a lot of work to bring it back.

I'm guessing with the time and money it will take to restore it I would probably be better off just buying another one which is complete.
