Need monitor repaired in DFW area

What kind of monitor? There are some guys in the DFW area, or you could ship the chassis down here (provided it's not an oddball)...

You small state guys are spoiled. Austin to Dallas is almost 200 miles, and your entire state of Washington is only 240 miles top to bottom. Hell it can take an hour or more to get from one side of DFW to the other side. Post office is just fine...

Yep, it's at least a 3 hour drive from Houston to Austin, San Antonio or Dallas. That being said I find it funny when some of the guys that live in other states aren't willing to drive an hour to pick up a game.

Some of us aren't afraid to make road trips. I am very spoiled in my little state. I just made a run down to Dick Millikan's for some board repairs. Left my place at 11:30 and got back home around 7-ish. Got a few things done. G05-801 repaired, Asteroids, Centipede, Bump-N-Jump, Burgertime, Tested a Kangaroo set, picked up a Sinistar ROM and Interface boards. Had to leave a couple of things too, Mario Bros and Scramble. Overall a pretty good trip.

Any recommendations on repairing a monitor in the DFW area?

I do monitors but am frequently out of town so if you need it pronto, I can't always be there for you. I'll gladly help IF you bring it here and if I have the chassis already rebuilt, I can just swap you even and rejuvenate the tube for free if you like.

I don't do Korteks any more or 4600's unless I'm desperate and certainly not Hantarex cause I don't have the patience or time. I will do a 4600 if that is all you have. It is just time consuming to disassemble etc. Still one of the better pictures in my opinion. That being said, I will work on G07s, WG4900s, K7000s, some Sharp Image, some later model Wells Gardners if they aren't too messed up.

If you want a "professional" shop to fix it, try Atlas Electronics in Downtown Dallas. $75 if you bring them the monitor. They have a lot of obscure parts and they fix the stuff I won't work on (most of the time). They will only get it "working". You might still have to do a complete cap kit on it to get the colors right. This seems to be a recurring them among a lot of the monitor shops.

PM me if you want my contact info. I'm in Flower Mound. I have references.
