Hi,

I got this Mousetrap cab without the monitor installed.
Can someone please tell me what monitor make and model did this game came with
originally?

Thanks,
Rick

Odds are its a 25" tube space in cab.

It is a color low res game.

if the signal cable is 10 pin

then I would use a K7400 or K7000 monitor since

your monitor is missing.

Got a photo we can look over everything and make sure you have everything

you need.

Odds are its a 25" tube space in cab.

Didn't take a pic of the empty space (forgot about it)
but the area is about 24" by 20"

There are two connetors, one small with 2 wires (I guess power input)
and one with 6 wires (I guess video signal)

I would at least need to know what size monitor to look for.
Is it really a 25"? Or is it a 19"?

If anyone who owns a Mousetrap could help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
Rick

19"

Does that look right to you?

you can't go by KLOV spec's.

Thanks would really appreciate this. If you could note model and screen size.
The damn manual doesn't say anything about it!

Rick

When a monitor is missing

you can put any size that fits in the viewable image

and mounting.

The I idea of taking a picture of the insides of the cab so we can

look at what is in the cab that hooks to the monitor and any

changes have been make to the cab and is a isolation transformer in it?

So we can offer more suggestions.

You don't have to go by the original monitor. Unless you want to!!

The models I mention are easy to find and a better chassis for long term

and if you can get a bigger image ,I would try 25" in it, if I was going for

a replace monitor ,Now is the time to do it!!

You can make your own bezel and remove the glass, some different things

you can do.

Good Luck!

Actually, there is no mounting. There is a wooden support where you place the chassis
and that's it...

Here are couple pics from a youtube video. I think that transformer is the isolation for monitor, and you can also see how the monitor is placed.

Looks like a 19" to me, the available space is about 24" wide....

That does look like a 19"

you said you didn't have a monitor.

And a 25 inch tube should fit in the space

but not match up with the glass bezel the image needs to be within the

viewable image area, if the glass was going to be used then you would need

a smaller tube.

ours has a VisionPro swap, but it was probably either G07 or 4900.

This is true. Many 19"s will most likely fit. I have owned a Pepper II, a couple of Exidy 440's, and worked on Gack's Mousetrap when he had it. All of them had G07's with one of the 440's having a WG4900 if I recall correctly.

Mousetrap is too old to have come out with a K7000.

It had either a 19" G-07, K4600 or K4900. You can make any of the them work in that cabinet and with that wiring harness.

I know it' a 19". I've seen and played several dedicated Mousetraps. Not sure why this is so hard for you to accept?

Of course a 19" will fit!

But your Photo is far from what it should look like.

But you didn't say anything about its not right.

Its looks as if you are saying that's the way it looks!

That what I got out of the post!

Probably not worth posting if its wrong.
