i am trying to hook up my VGA to CGA/EGA converter i bought to my Blitz 25" cabinet so i can start finishing my MAME project. I have a Zenith CRT and i do not understand where to get the correct cable to hook to the monitor board. the output of the VGA to CGA/EGA converter is a six prong plug and the board is not the same could someone help?

I have the Ultimarc J-PAC for controls, but didn't want to spend a crazy amount on a 15K video card. So I bought the VGA to CGA adapter like you. On the adapter, RGB go to monitor chassis as normal, next pin is ground and the last one (Sync) has to go to both negative H Sync and negative V Sync on the monitor chassis board. You can make a proper cable very easily, but I just hacked a chunk off an ATX power supply for the chassis side and then soldered it to the VGA to CGA converter.

The converter also needed 5 volts, so that is just wired to the 5 volt output on the arcade switcher power supply or the PC's power supply.

Here is a pic of my VGA to CGA converter:
