this machine wouldnt start a game up when powered, it was stuck in audit mode and i could never get it out.I bought another reconditioned board and it did the same thing, the only difference is it didnt have a battery holder. so i put on a remote battery holder and it had problems with one of the chips. So i then soldered that battery holder onto my existing board and now i can play the game, the only issue i still have is when in audit mode i cannot change settings well. for an example, if i want to change the multiball timer from 35 secs to 99 i press and hold the start button and it might go up to 38 and sit there, if i try to go down it might skip to 23 secs and sit there. I dont have smooth control over this . What should i be looking for as far as a test or changing a component on my board ?

Bad contacts ?

I had a similar problem with my June lord. A friend suggests spraying contact cleaner on the contacts of the test switch. Cleared everything up. Hopefully, your solution will be that simple. If not, you can have the board analyzed and repaired by Clive at coinopcauldron.com.

fixed it
i cut out the ic19 cmos and soldered in a new socket and installed a new chip, machine works like its new !
since the chip was defective , it wouldnt let me change any functions.
