Need help with Star Trek Electrohome vector monitor

Ive got this issue and i dont know if its the board or the monitor. The image is garbled but i can see the stars moving and can tell that cpu is running for the most part. Ive ordered a cap kit for the monitor but i was hoping to make sure it wasnt a board problem first. Obviously the blue isnt showing up but ill get to that. Anyone seen this before?

hiya matt..

check your X-Y control boards and make sure all your chips have been reseated and check your connectors... i had the same issues on my boardset when my star trek was still running..i had to reseat almost all the chips on all the boards and make sure my connectors were clean.

try that first...then check your video inputs.
