Hello,

is there anyone can shed a bit hint on how to track down bad RAMs problem on sega model 2b crx, namely last bronx?

test menu screen attached.

see, the problem is when i replace a ram, it stills marked bad. what even wierd is, when i pull of ram @IC64, the test at ram 64 still shows GOOD. so i am bit confused. is the test number misleading?

thanks in advance

There's this weird thing with boards a lot of times when there's a different issue or a bad RAM, that at times it marks a whole bunch of them as bad when they're really not and masks a greater issue. Did you buy this working?

Well rather, did your customer have it working before it died? Because the chances of that many RAM going out without something like a voltage spike going through and killing a bunch of them is pretty rare.

i don't quite know the board history. it just came and i just fix them.
agree, but it's not problem if what it marked bad in test mode, is really bad.
