I recently bought a Trophy Hunter (Moose and Bear) and while sometimes the game and monitor looks PERFECT, other times the aim will be off, and sometimes the screen starts to show white lines, and even goes completely white!

I'm not a real technical guy, but if I took some pictures with my digital camera of the boards or monitor inside, could anyone offer some ideas or assistance?

And if anyone happens to be near Western, NC, you can come camp with us for free if you're willing to help! Thanks in advance!

Do you have a picture of what the flyback is? Are those easy to find and replace? Any idea how much it should cost? Thanks!!!

You'll need to know the exact make/model monitor you have before ordering a flyback.
The SCREEN potentiometer is probably failing on yours. You could try adjusting it some and see if it settles down. (doubtful, but worth a shot)

do you have a picture or a link that shows and explains how to adjust the screen potentiometer? Sorry ,I'm pretty clueless here :(

Not sure if this will help, but I took a few pictures inside the game. Can you see anything from these pictures that might identify the problem? Thanks!!

do you see the knob i need to turn in any of the pictures I posted? And again, the weird thing is, when the game boots up, its perfectly clear. Beautiful picture, no burn, nothing. But then it starts acting up.

Its on the flyback. There are two pots on it: one controls brightness (screen) and the other focus.

That is helpful! can you adjust it while its on, or should it be powered off and then you turn it on and check it? And i assume you just use a screw driver to change the pots?

On the back left of your chassis, there is a label. It will say something like WGM27xx or WGM25xx - depending on whether or not it is a 27" or 25". The xx means that there will be two numbers in that location that identify your chassis type:

74 = K7400
75 = K7500
20 = U2000
50 = U5000

I'm fairly certain it is either a K7400 or U2000, but you should check to be sure....
