Need help with my marquee what to do??

Here is my DOT marquee. not doing to good. what are your recommendations for fixing this the best i can seeing how getting a new marquee is a slim chance, when i removed the Tron part it removed some of the art work with it...:mad:

anyone have any ideas? its actually worse sitting out the past few days...looks like ill be looking for a replacement.

I haven't seen or worked on a DOT previously, but I did work on some bezels in the past with flaking paint, so perhaps this will help. The pinball guys are pretty good at fixing flaking paint issues like this, so checkout RGP for additional info.

One method, if you are very patient, is to use tape to attach it all together. This requires you lay down each piece of peeled paint. Once connected, it can be sealed, so it is now one piece of material again. There are other methods, but as I said above, I recommend you research RGP for info and sites that describe this and other methods much better than I did.

Dude, sorry about your luck, That sux bro. I didn't click the link but I do know that the pin guys love the Krylon triple thick clear coat. They use it to prevent this from in happening and in some cases to repair it. I would think it would be some delicate work but with a little effort you could get it looking better.
