this is the cheap way to go.
if you cannot afford this way then just wait till you have the funds to do it.

are you even sure you have a full chassis, it took me a few weeks to even figure out i was missing a card on the chassis and then it took me 3 months to find it.
no one has parts for it trust me.

good luck

I have looked at the chassis many times and I don't see anymore room for boards, so I assume I have a full chassis. What card was you missing, and what impact did it have on the chassis? Thanks Travis

i believe i was missing the horz / vert card
and obviously all i had was a line.
i found a card and did a cap kit but in the end it was never a good picture.
i was thinking of doing a tube swap but after looking at it i decied not to.
If i remember correctly it is bonded on the yoke.
but i may be wrong, but it is a very difficult monitor to fix, half of the adj dont do anything.

good luck

Mine had a 4500 monitor in it. The tube was really dim and pretty much junk so I swapped it with a 4600 and donated the 4500 to the arcadecrt.com for parts.

Well I was board,so I did a cap kit on my k4500 and the colors look a little bit brighter. So the good news is the cap kit helped and I did my first cap kit without a problem. The bad news is I thought I had a tube that I could swap out so I removed the yoke,rings,ect... only to found out the neck on the donor tube was a lot smaller than the arcade tube.So I put everything back together and my colors look good but the the screen has a wave to it(Horizontally). Maybe someone can help,by pointing me at what I need to adjust. I played with the yoke if the top is straight then the bottom is angled. Thanks Travis.

Board 1, the one that came with the cab is up an runnin. All it needed was a new CPU,the z80 out of the other board works just fine.So I guess $14.75 is kind of high for a z80. But at that price I have an extra board, manual and Schismatics. So now I know for the second board I need a cpu, sockets for the ram, and 2114 ram, if I'm lucky that should do it. A question for you all. What is the best way to fix the main connector on this board. The problem is I keep losing the blue and red colors on screen,if I mess with the wires just right they come back. Thanks for your time Travis B.

will you sell me this board for parts/repair?
