I have a fairly-new Tovis 19" monitor (model # MTG-1901CN) with a chassis (ID of MTG-2901CN) that does not come up at all and would like to have it repaired. Please email me directly at [email protected] if you can repair this or know somewhere I can send the chassis out.

Thanks in advance,

Vic (in CT)

I've fixed one in the past (blown inductor), recapped it (92 caps), then later had to reset the memory (just like the D9200 it's a copy of) when it started flaking out.

What is your current issue with it? Are you at least getting the "No Signal" on the screen? Or is it completely dead? See any burnt parts on it?

I don't have access to a tube, otherwise I'd offer to help....

EDIT - BTW., the 1901 is a 19" tube, and the 2901 is a 27" chassis. If you are trying to put a 27" chassis with a 19" tube, you're going to have a problem...

Hey Mod,
Are you sure this is a digital monitor? IIRC, I thought this was the Vision Pro, Imperial, Wells-Gardner 7302 re-brand.

The 1901 is the 7302 rebrand. The 2901 is the D9200 rebrand...

EDIT: Maybe I'm thinking of the 2902, but I think they're the same:

EDIT2: And apparently there is a 2901 chassis made for a 1901 tube, so forget that, too...
