Seeing what you have there is based on a pc motherboard.I would say by taking the battery out you reset the bios settings to default. Can you hook up a keyboard and enter the bios and look for settings like boot drive and such.

Yea i went there but I dont get it .Should i just contact this guy to see if he can help or is there away I can just put an Icade in this thing and call it a day . tLike i said when i did put the Icade in it it seemed that it needed degaused but when i did that the screen stays the same . What would cause this ? Im at a complete loss. Is there anyone on here that might be able to help.

how do i do that ? How do i hook it up to where i can see the bios.WHen i turn on the game the screen is black with lines. Is there a way i can hook it up so i can see it on my computer? thanks

First, put in a new battery. After that...

Unplug the cables that are in the VGA and keyboard connectors on that motherboard and hook up a real keyboard and VGA monitor.

Power it up and set the system up.

Also, make sure the flash drive is plugged into the proper IDE controller slot on the motherboard.

Nope. Go buy a keyboard and VGA monitor.

Next time, don't pull the battery out until you have the power on AND a new battery to go back in. :p

HEy there is no flash drive that came with this .I have a flash drive . Do i need to download everything again on to the drive and reinstall ? If i do what do i need and where do i get it?

Well i dont get it ?????? I did what you said and nothing I have it hooked to a different vga source went and bought a keyboard and Jack Shit is happening , Im getting no picture at all on the monitor .There is no boot screen ,nothing .Am at a total loss .Fuck this board!!!

That piece that says "Mega Classics" sure does look like a flash drive from the fuzzy picture. Does it have an socket on one end that plugs into the IDE socket on the board?

Are you plugging the 20 pin connector from the power supply into the 20 pin connector on that motherboard? It will NOT get power from the JAMMA connector.

Also, There should be a short keyboard cable that plugs into the motherboard AND the JAMMA adapter.

PLUS... if there's no jack for power on the JAMMA board then there should be a hookup on the edge connector to supply +5 and +12v to the JAMMA board.

If there's no power to the motherboard it'll never boot.

If there's no power to the JAMMA board it'll never show anything on the monitor.

If there's no hard drive, CD-ROM, or flash drive plugged into the IDE socket on the motherboard then it has nothing to boot from and will NEVER play a game.

You broke a cardinal rule of gaming... If it ain't broke, don't fix it... Now you have to figure out how to undo the damage.

THe short keyboard cable? Is that the one that looks like a s video cable? If it is i plugged it into the jamma board but the only plug i can find on the motherboard is the port for the mouse. Thanks for all your help channel

Yes thats it.Sorry new to this style of setup .I really appreciate you teaching me the ropes.
