Need help, TOTAN ball save cages have a mind of their own. (video)
I'm having a very odd issue that is an intermittent problem on my Arabian Nights machine. The ball cage saves will sometimes pop up on their own, and then repeatedly hammer up and down sometimes for minutes even during bonus countdown after the shooting star lights have gone out. It's only until a new ball is served will they stop. It seems to be mainly the left save that does this the most (i've even had it stick up without dropping for a prolonged period of time) The right is plagued by this as well. Sometimes they pop up and hammer when a flipper is activated, sometimes not. Some games they work perfect.
My first thought was the optics, but they work fine in the switch edge test. The left optic sometimes gets out of alignment during a game, but this disables the feature entirely. The solenoids themselves fire at regular intervals during solenoid test as well.
I have no idea where to go from here, at this point it almost seems like a logic/software issue. I'm running 1.3 version of the software.
