so i picked up a killer instinct 2 arcade game and it works but the monitor has no neck board and no chasis on it, so i cant see if theres anything wrong with the monitor, it was listed as being worked on before but im guessing whoever tried to fix it took those parts and since all i have is the tube im just going to sell it and part this thing out,

now since all i have is the tube and since this game is in a different cabinet, i need help trying to figure out what the cabinet was used for and what tube i have, on the tube i found a stick with WG241909 on it, thats all i could find, i believe it also has a sticker with sanyo on it but im not sure

the cabinet i have no idea and right now dont have a camera to take pictures, so i will post some up when i get them, but if anyone could tell me what tube this is i can get started on parting it out, thanks

Look on the frame for a label with the chassis model. It might be on the part where the tube bolts to the frame.

Otherwise, measure the yoke, and we'll see what chassis types match those yoke measurements.

It might be easiest to just do that anyway, count the pins, measure the neck width, and order a universal chassis for it...

only problem with getting parts etc is that alot of the cables are hacked up pretty bad and that would just add to the cost of that, also i forgot to say that EVERYTHING from the neck is gone, there is no chasis no metal bits except for whats holding in the tube itself

Oh, so the deflection yoke is missing too? That does make things more complicated... Before doing anything I'd check out that tube with a tube tester. Chances are, it was stripped because the tube was bad. But, if the tube checks out OK, and there is no burn, you might be OK tracking down the parts - but you'll have to do a full convergence setup, and if you're missing the convergence magnet assembly, then it's even more of a pain.

You'd probably be best off to just get a junker 25" TV, and ohm out the yoke and buy a compatible generic chassis from Alva or something. The frame for the monitor becomes very useful, and you could build a monitor for less than $100.

If your wiring harness is all hacked up, might as well just replace it with a nice new Jamma harness and be done with it.

I 'think' these midway cabs came with hantarex polo monitors but im not positive. Then again, without seeing a picture we cant guess what kind of cab you have.

Yeah, operators swapped out monitors like underware. The fact that the OP sees a Sanyo monitor sticker and a Wells-Gardner serial number.....tells me some switching has been done. And yeah, without pictures who knows.....it could be anything.

You know, you can order a complete brand new 25" monitor directly from Wells for a little over $300 shipped. You will be better off buying a new monitor or finding a good used one.

Not quite sure what you want to know. The tube is a A48ABK05X and was probably a K7000 8-pin chassis. Probably wont get much for a tube only especially if you don't know the working condition.
