awesome how tough is it fixing a WG4600 compared top doing a G07 ?? (G07 is all i have worked on so far.)

Also the flyback isnt on the board its off to the side, i thought that was weird compared to the G07's ive worked on.

Any links for a owners manual,

Also any one know of any links to the little nintendo convertor board to the left side?

found it. thanks again man, any tips on the wG4600 before i dive into it? I was thinking of getting a cap kit and new flyback first off.

Also is a pacman cab different from a ms. pac?? Because i have a ms. pac and even though this cab kinda looks like it, it is definitely wider and a little bit different shape than my ms. pac.

On my ms pac the curves are sleeker and steeper up the sides.

ok its officially a pacman cab, i actually found an instruction sheet stapled in it from a pac cab.

Anyways i have neck glow but black as night picture? i messed with all knobs and couldnt seem to get it to change at all? where is the brightness knob on these WG 4600's? Is it on the neck board to the right side that says screen?? I thought it was and adjusted it but did nothing. i even messed with the black out pot too and nothing. just plays blind.

According to the manual i cant find where it indicated the brightness knob, so im thinking its the one that says screen.

Brightness is on the neck, but black level is on the interface card. (the daughter card on the left looking at it from the rear)

The brightness control is known on Wells-Gardner monitors as "black level control" and it's located on the video interface board. That's one of the vertically mounted daughter cards that your video signal cable from the gameboard plugs into. It's shown in the manual.

The "screen" control which is considered a coarse brightness control is mounted on the neck board. Do not turn it more than halfway through it's range. Normal setting is at ten o'clock.

ok cool and yea after messing with blak control knob it still wasnt changing anything. Off to a cap kit i guess.
