My friend has a cocktail style multicade cabinet and I tested the power supply and it seems to be dead. I have replaced them before but this one does not have anything hooked to a -5V. There is a +12V and a +5V. I've just not seen one that doesn't have the -5V. I'm assuming I replace it just as it is without the -5V? I have included a pic of the current bad power supply and the new one I ordered to replace it.

if it's a 60 in 1 iCade then -5V isn't used
This is the pic he sent me of the board. I could not identify it. He said it's a Pac-Man but from the looks of the inside and the computer monitor for the screen I assumed it's a multicade.

Yep, that's just a JAMMA 60 in 1 board. 12v and 5v is enough.

Thanks a lot! He was also asking if I could install the tracking ball for certain games. If I just buy the new kit with the balls should it be plug and play?

I've never installed one of these before but according to modessitt years ago here you install the trackball on CON3 (pictured above) and set dipswitch bank 2 switches 4 and 5 to OFF for Upright 1 Control. the trackball that works with these I'm not sure where to buy them as I think they use a small .100 plug to interface with the JAMMA board.
