I'm working on a WG monitor for a friend but I need to know the model first. (was in his multicade..so no idea where it came from originally). It has one sticker on it with the following markings:

WGM2550-U68M12F
054A5191-001

I haven't run across these numbers exactly, but it closely resembles a U5000 monitor's ID scheme. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, I have 120v power coming into the board, fuse is good, but get nothing on the board itself and no neck glow from the tube. I'm assuming I should start with a new Flyback, but are there other considerations I should look at first?

Thanks,

Thanks for the link. after viewing the pdfs, It definitely looks like a u5000 as it has the dual row of connectors on the deflection board over by the width coil. I think you connect the harness to one or the other based on std res or med res.

The only other thing to look at is whether you have the Medium Resolution ONLY or the Dual Resolution version (switchable).

But yeah, it's a U5000.

I wasn't aware any U5000's were medium resolution only. i thought they were all dual-res.

Usually the numbers are this:

20 - U2000 (standard-res)
50 - U5000 (dual-res)
74 - K7400 (standard-res)
75 - K7500 (medium-res)
