I've got these two connectors on my x-men machine that are all nasty and gnarled. Lord knows how they got that way, but I might as well replace them. I don't know what the connectors are called, so I don't know how to find a replacement. Can you guys identify these connectors for me?

Thanks!

2nd picture... can make out partial lettering on connector. What does this show and are there any other manufacturer markings?

I've attached the pictures to this post. I'm at work, so i won't be able to get the writing off the connector until i get home. According to the manual, it says they're 4 position and 6 position J.S.T. connectors, but that doesn't seem to help me find anything.

JST Connectors -- www.jst.com

Looks like it may be their NH series connector.
4 pin plug = H4P-SHF-AA
6 pin plug = H6P-SHF-AA
Crimp contacts - probably SHF-001T-0.8BS but sold 5000 per reel

Digikey looks to seel the contacts individually... but good luck with the plugs.

Digikey also lists the plugs at less than $0.10 each but you need to buy 1000 at a time. Maybe request samples from the manufacturer?

I checked the markings on the connectors, and it just says "JST". I didn't know that I'd have to buy the plug and the contacts separately. This is going to be quite a project for me if that's the case!

I contacted JST and they concurred with you. I submitted a request for some samples, now we'll see if they come!

I suppose I owe you guys an update on this one...

Huge props to buffet and DogP for fixing the monitors. JST also send me the right connectors so I replaced those and the sound is great.

geez that things huge how on earth did you get it through the door?!

Excellent! Now, be a good boy and scan all of the artwork on that thing! A few of us have them with jacked up CPO's and someone was going to d a repro if we could get the scans together......

We got it through the door by disconnecting the control console from the main cab, and removing the rear monitor and mounting brackets. Plus we had to take the door off the hinges....

As for the repro artwork, I'd love it, too! The people at Ground Kontrol did a total artwork restoration, and promised me that they'd upload it to http://artwork.joymonkey.com/ a long time ago, but they never got back to me, and I don't see it up there. Feel free to e-mail ground kontrol to encourage them to upload that artwork, because you'll notice that the bezel artwork is missing on mine, and I need a replacement bad!
